For those who know me well, you know that Jack Canfield is a person for whom I have great respect. His book, “The Success Principles” is my favorite book of all time. This morning I had an experience where the Jack Canfield Coaching really came in handy.
Jack says that there are many different ways to go through life. One of his suggestions is that you look at people and always believe that they do what they know best at the time. If you go through life always knowing that people do what they know is best at the time, then when someone ‘wrongs’ you, it’s not because they did so maliciously, they just didn’t have all the knowledge they needed to make a better decision. Think about that for a minute. Reflect on an instance in the past week or so. If you had someone hurt your feelings in any way, give them the complete benefit of the doubt. Know inside yourself that they just didn’t know any better.
I truly feel that this outlook on the human race will make you a much happier person. Challenge yourself to look at your situations that you encounter during 1 day and use this outlook. I think it will be something that you are happy to adapt to your life full time!

The “Coolest Guy in Fort Myers” challenge has already ended
. I officially made it to #1 in Google within 30 mins! That’s the kind of results that I love to see for clients. Thanks for asking.

So I’ve been put up to a challenge…If someone Google’s “Coolest Guy in Fort Myers” will they find me? Ok, this sounds completely ridiculous and a little vain, but I think it’s worth a go. I think it would be better to be the “smartest guy in Fort Myers” but I’ll roll with “Coolest Guy in Fort Myers.” Today, April 10th is the first day of the contest, and I have exactly 1 week to accomplish number 1 on Google. No big money pay off or anything like that, but I guess if anyone in their right mind were to type in Coolest Guy in Fort Myers, they would find me, Brad Dohack. I’ll report in as necessary. Wish me luck in becoming the coolest guy in fort myers!

A lot of people have been asking me how I do customized signatures in Gmail, so I thought I would help. There is an add on specifically for Mozilla Firefox that is called Black Canvas. You can find it here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7757. Once you install the add-on, you will need to go and compose an email within Gmail. Once you get to the compose screen, you will see new buttons that appear that. Click on the one that says “Create New Signature.” That’s it. It does require a little bit of HTML knowledge to get the signature that you want, but you can simply start out with something like this.
Health, Wealth & Happiness,
Brad Dohack
This will result in the following looking signature:
Health, Wealth & Happiness,
Brad Dohack
There are obviously waaaaaaaay more sophisticated html tools out there, but this will get you started. This add on also gives you the ability to insert pictures into your signature block as well. The pictures do have to be hosted somewhere online though. Sorry, you can’t put a picture directly from your computer onto the signature block without hosting it first. Hope this helps!
